Of course after reading these tweets many people (not only black) are rightfully upset. Who is Jenny Hyun? I personally wasn’t aware of her until today. She is a singer, songwriter with not many twitter followers so not well known until now. Someone pointed out to me she makes erratic comments all the time, so they unfollowed her account so that they wouldn’t be subjected to seeing them. This is probably going to be a long read, I thank you in advance. I’m not going to retort in violently aggressive remarks, I like to keep it chill. However this needs to get out, especially we need to be aware of the kind of people who work with the “oppas and unnies”. Yes there are people that are this racist in the world and yes still. I think I can speak for other Black people with the constant, “Why do I continue to listen to this music and follow this culture when all they do insult us?”

Obviously Floyd Mayweather is showing that he is jealous and whinny. He has no real influence. There is no need to subject an entire group of people to one person’s actions or words. She ends up sounding even more jealous and whinny than he does. Jenny should have just left her beef with the ignorant comments of his. Instead she is basically suggesting genocide upon Black people. So an ant gets into your home you go outside and poison the ant hill? Is that what you’re thinking Jenny? It sounds more like a baby merely pulls your hair so you murder her whole innocent family. This stems from more than just some BS Mayweather comment. Clearly she is not of sound mind, could very well be a Hitler sympathizer for all I know, with that little elaborate theory she has there. 

Jeremy Lin is getting shine for his talent and his ethnicity. Since this seems rare, its gonna get that attention. I admitted even I got a bit annoyed with the countless jokes and sayings sprung from it, (like okay we get it) but I’m even more annoyed about the racist and ignorant comments even from ESPN writers. “chink in the armor”  really? That is no where near cute or witty. Therefore, unlike Mayweather, as a Black person, I am GLAD someone Asian is getting recognition for their talent that doesn’t include stereotypical activities much like Far East Movement. I would like to see more of it in the future too. We all need to support each other regardless of ethnicity. 

What this woman thinks is not important to me, but she put it out there for folks to see and folks are offended. Black people are human, just like you Jenny dear. Asians, Blacks, Whites everyone shouldn’t be put down or one over the other we are all humans. She is suggesting deposing of human lives, even joking about it is more than disgusting. To disrespect any of the human race is wrong. Jenny contradicts herself, claiming to be a fan of certain Black artists and writing music which to be honest, comes from the root Black people developing it. Therefore she can have her (possibly struggling) career. Well at least you are destroying it before it really takes off, less off a fall I guess. 

*If she is American she lives in a country built off the backs of Black people. Say there were never any Black people. Let’s say they used Asians instead. Maybe someone Latin or Hispanic will be in Jenny’s place writing about Asians instead of Blacks?

*As long as there are economically disadvantaged people in the world, the need for charities will remain, yes certainly Asian regions included so let’s not even go that route. 

*Last time I checked Asian countries had slavery too. I mean isn’t there even a Korean drama called “Chuno: Slave Hunters”? The difference is the foreign factor. Africans were kidnapped by foreigners or sold to them by fellow Africans. 

*Whitney? Baggage? she imposed no baggage on my life, only gifted me with beautiful music my whole life. What have you done for me? I don’t blame the girls but I haven’t even heard the SNSD song or that Chocolat song you worked on. 

*Whales and Elephants? well they’re also known for their great memories and honey I won’t forget about this. 

*People with ideas like Jenny are what reminds me of Cancer, Flu or AIDS. I say that “unbiased”.
